Rail Europe adds Amtrak tool to online training course

Rail Europe Inc. recently added a new a new Amtrak training module to is online rail agent training course, or TRAC®.
The new course will help travel agents learn about Amtrak-specific trains, services and products. Agents also can use the training tool to become Amtrak rail specialists.
“The new training program will further enhance our partnership with Amtrak, offering agents the tools needed to easily and efficiently research, plan and book American rail vacations for their clients,” said Rail Europe Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Frédéric Langlois in a prepared statement.
In addition, Rail Europe has added a new training video to its online agent tutorials that will serve as a learning tool for agents who are booking or planning to book Amtrak services through Rail Europe.
Rail Europe is a vacation-planning firm that distributes European rail products in North America. The agency added Amtrak to its rail profile in 2009.
