North Carolina's Triangle Transit purchases right-of-way from CSX

North Carolina’s Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) recently purchased 52 acres from CSX Corp. for $24.5 million.
The property runs along CSX’s rail corridor from Raleigh, N.C., to Spring Forest Road. Purchasing the land enables TTA to obtain right-of-way to construct tracks for a regional rail project.
