MTA seeks tenants for Metro-North Pearl River Station retail

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Construction and Development is seeking a retail tenant for the MTA Metro-North Railroad station in Pearl River, New York.

Prospective tenants will have access to the 1,250-square-foot station building just steps away from the platform and sidewalk space for outdoor spacing possibilities, according to a press release.

The authority issued a request for proposals as part of MTA Real Estate's Station Leasing Program, an initiative aimed at transforming commuter-rail station houses into retail space to help build up downtown businesses.

Recent program successes include The Bakehouse at the Tarrytown station, which remained open during the pandemic and was honored last week with a "Comeback Hero" award issued by Metro-North President Catherine Rinaldi.
