The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) recently marked the completion of four structures in Kings and Tulare counties. The authority has now completed eight structures during 2026 and 66 structures total along the first 119 miles of construction in the high-speed rail system's Central Valley segment.

The four completed projects are:

  • State Route 43 Curved Bridge — the grade separation structure will take vehicular traffic over future high-speed rail tracks north of the city of Corcoran in Kings County.
  • Cross Creek Viaduct — the second Kings County structure structure spans more than 2,500 feet and will carry trains over the waterway.
  • Tule River Viaduct — located in Tulare County, the combination viaduct pergola structure will carry trains over State Route 43, the Tule River and existing freight-rail tracks.
  • Avenue 136 Underpass — just south of the Tule River Viaduct in Tulare County, the structure will carry trains over two-way motor-vehicle traffic.
