MTA names Metzger senior policy advisor

Yesterday, New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) named Susan Metzger senior policy advisor.
In the unpaid position, she will be responsible for advising the MTA on cost-effective ways to improve mobility within and to Orange and Rockland counties, MTA officials said in a prepared statement.
Metzger will work on several multi-agency transportation improvement projects, including MTA Metro-North Railroad service to Stewart Airport, the Access to the Region’s Core/Trans-Hudson Express Tunnel project, Tappan Zee Bridge replacement project and other projects west of the Hudson River.
