The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is seeking input from riders and stakeholders on its long-term capital and strategic initiative investment plan, which is dubbed Focus 2050.
Focus 2050 will be MBTA's latest update to its state-required Program for Mass Transportation. The plan aims to prepare the system for future growth, climate impacts and changing travel patterns, while aligning strategic goals with the capital investment plan, MBTA officials said in a press release.
Riders, advocacy organizations, municipalities and community groups are invited to provide input on what they need from the MBTA over the next 24 years through virtual and in-person meetings. Feedback can be provided by email or at outreach tables at MBTA stations. More information can be found on the MBTA project website.
