Las Vegas X Train contracts engineering firm for station work

Walker Engineering L.L.C. has begun work on the Las Vegas Railway Express Inc.’s Las Vegas station.
The woman-owned engineering firm will complete planning, due diligence, surveying, demolition and civil engineering plans, and civil permitting work for the station project.
Las Vegas Railway Express is developing the X Train passenger-rail service between southern California and Las Vegas. Trains would run from California to Las Vegas Thursday and Friday, and return on Sunday.
