The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) recently awarded a $2.8 million contract L.B. Foster Co. subsidiary CXT Inc. to supply concrete ties for the agency’s Washington County commuter-rail project.
TriMet will install the ties along the 14.7-mile line between Beaverton and Wilsonville, Ore.
L.B. Foster will manufacture the ties at its Spokane, Wash., plant and begin delivering units in August.
