advertisement
On Oct. 15, Bay Area Rapid Transit officials plan to unveil new ticket vending machine (TVM) and fare gates at Concord Station.
The fare gates, which have been in use at Concord Station several months, feature programmable display screens and are equipped with smart-card targets for future use in the area’s TransLink regional automatic fare collection program.
BART plans to install the new automatic fare collection equipment manufactured by Cubic Transportation Systems Inc. throughout its system and the four-station extension to San Francisco International Airport.
