BART solicits public opinion on new station, extension

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) officials will hold public hearings April 27-28 to solicit the community's input on fares, parking, access and other amenities at a new station that will be built as part of a 5.4-mile extension, which is under construction in Alameda County, Calif.
The extension, which will extend from Fremont to a new station at Warm Springs, is slated for completion in late 2014.
