The Agence metropolitaine de transport (AMT) in Montreal has launched an international call for tenders process to award a contract for the operation of its commuter trains and the maintenance of its commuter-rail rolling stock. Other related services will be included in the contract, including the maintenance of support equipment and the cleaning maintenance of its rolling stock, AMT officials said in a press release.The AMT plans to award the contract in the fall of 2016 to give the selected supplier an adequate mobilization period before it begins its service offering.Companies interested in bidding on this contract can visit the MERX or SEAO websites.
