Norfolk Southern Railway's Triple Crown Services Inc. subsidiary was named Averitt's 2025 top intermodal rail carrier as part of the logistics and transportation services provider's second annual Integrated Carrier Awards program.
"The recognition highlights Triple Crown's strong performance across the past year, including tracking and visibility, proactive communication, service quality, on-time performance and total volume supported," said NS officials in an online "Story Yard" article.
Averitt created the Integrated Carrier Awards to recognize its top-performing partners within its network, Averitt officials said in a press release. Those partners enable Averitt to meet customer needs while continuing to grow its brokerage options, they added.
