Nissan awarded CSX its 2026 Supply Chain Management Partner of the Year recognition in honor of the railroad's performance, reliability and commitment to supporting the automobile manufacturer's North American supply chain.
The award, presented at Nissan's annual Supply Chain Logistics Conference on May 7 in Nashville, was accepted by CSX Director of Automotive Sales Melissa Carr and Senior Director of Automotive Sales Tom Fitzgerald, CSX officials said in a press release.
CSX consistently exceeded service requirements across Nissan's Symrna campus, the company's largest U.S. manufacturing site, maintaining high rail-car spotting and fulfilment levels. The company also delivered strong damage-prevention results, CSX officials said.
"This recognition is a reflection of the dedication and focus our team brings to the Nissan partnership every day," Fitzgerald said. "We are proud of the work we have done together and remain committed to delivering the reliability and responsiveness that Nissan's operations depend on."
