CN partners with Ducks Unlimited Canada to support wetland conservation, restoration

CN recently announced a three-year partnership with Ducks Unlimited Canada to support the conservation and restoration of wetlands.
The Class I committed $850,000 to the organization, which will use the funds to continue several existing wetland projects in the Belleville, Ontario, area. The money also will help fund 20 new wetland conservation projects expecting to total 250 acres.
CN supports conservation through its EcoConnexions environmental stewardship strategy, under which the railroad works to help protect the diversity and variety of wildlife in the various habitats through which it operates.
