Canadian Pacific Kansas City last week recognized six of its transloading partners for outstanding performance, investment and innovation in 2024.
The Class I presented the awards at its annual Business Development and Transload Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. The annual event gives CPKC's sales and marketing and network and capacity management departments the opportunity to share market updates and build relationships with business stakeholders, CPKC officials said in a press release.
CPKC awarded the Canadian 2024 Outstanding Transload Performance (OSP) award to CPKC Transload Scotford, operated by Arrow Reload Systems Inc.; the U.S. OTP award to its Shoreham yard, operated by Stone Arch commodities; and the Mexican OSP award to Sipsa Bajio Terminal.
CPKC also awarded the Driving Growth: Investment and Innovation award to Sprague Operating Resources LLC; Canadian 2024 Outstanding Short Line Performance award to Essex Terminal Railway; and U.S. 2024 Outstanding Short Line Performance award to the Fort Worth and Western Railway.
Over 220 participants from 95 companies from across North America attended. CPKC presented on and discussed market updates from the Class I's export compliance, bulk and intermodal teams, Mexican markets, nearshoring and CPKC's Site Ready industrial development program.
