CN has hired Andrea Waldock Niethold to serve as the Class I's director of government affairs in Washington, D.C.Waldock Niethold brings a wide range of transportation policy experience to her new role, CN officials said in a press release.Most recently, she served as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.), who chairs the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee's Economic Development Subcommittee. Prior to that role, she served as Barletta's legislative director."There are many important issues facing the industry right now, from NAFTA to tax reform to safety, and I'm ready to get to work," said Waldock Niethold.
