The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority recently awarded a $9 million contract to Union Switch & Signal Inc. to provide its AF-800W track circuit system.
As part of a track replacement project scheduled to be completed early this year, US&S will replace existing track circuit modules at 22 locations on several lines.
