The Finnish Railway Administration recently awarded a $12 million contract to Alcatel Transport Solutions to provide control, supervision and operations systems for the 40-mile Kerava-to-Lahti line.
By March 2006, Alcatel will install its 6151 LockTrac train control system and its FieldTrac 6315 microprocessor-based multiple-section axle counters on the line.
