ASLRRA plans April annual meeting

Because Sept. 11's after-effects led American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) to cancel its annual meeting and exhibition scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 2 in Anaheim, Calif., the association recently decided to hold its 2002 annual meeting earlier in the year to regain what ASLRRA officials term "lost momentum."
The 2002 Annual Meeting and Exhibition will be held April 28-30 at the World Center Marriott in Orlando, Fla.
ASLRRA plans in the near future to release more details about the meeting as well as registration materials. For information, contact Executive Director-Membership Services Kathy Cassidy at 202-585-3443 or kcassidy@aslrra.org.
In terms of 2003, ASLRRA tentatively has scheduled Sept. 28-30 for its annual meeting and exhibition, to be held at the Philadelphia Marriott.
