The Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) recently awarded a $2.3 million contract to WPCS International Inc. subsidiary Quality Communications to upgrade the authority’s wireless network.
In partnership with RF Design and Integration Inc., Quality Communications will upgrade PATH’s simulcast system, which operates on the authority’s VHF radio frequencies. Designed for underground environments, simulcast systems are used to integrate multiple technologies, such as mobile and private radio systems.
