Maryland Transit Administration tests train arrival system

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) recently began testing a Next Train Arrival System at the Charles Center subway station.

The system will alert passengers of approaching trains using sound and flashing lights. MTA  plans to install the system in nearly all underground stations along the 15.5-mile subway line pending available funds.
