congatec has completed IEC 600068 testing for environmental sustainability of its conga-TC675r COM Express Compact Type 6 module, an application-ready embedded module for autonomous vehicles, mobile robots, critical infrastructure, industrial Internet of Things, wayside installations and mission-critical systems, according to a congatec in a press release. A Germany-based computing technology company, congatec's TC675r modulus are based on the 13th generation Intel Core processors and feature extended temperature control, soldered RAM in with-band IBEFF, and operation readiness at 10% to 85% humidity. This allows for them to be used in manned and unmanned rail equipment. The congra-TC675r also addresses the railroad industry's shock and vibration testing requirements, while the IEC 600068 is an international standard for environmental sustainability testing, company officials said.
