Reeder previously held various roles of increasing responsibility at Koppers in sales, customer service and engineering. Southern National Track Services has signed a nationwide distributor agreement with HydroBlox Technologies Inc. to distribute HydroBlox recycled plastic drainage planks and accessories to the rail and transit industries. Produced from recycled plastic, the planks are designed to handle standing water, runoff and subsurface drainage, and address other drainage problems on railroad and transit properties.

Michael Trabold has joined HNTB Corp. as a senior project manager and vice president in the engineering firm’s New York transit/rail practice. He has more than 28 years of experience in transit design, construction management and tunneling, including design-build projects for transportation agencies in the New York City area and Washington, D.C. Trabold has worked on MTA New York City Transit’s enhanced station initiative, serving in various roles in both design and construction, including project manager for the Second Avenue subway extension. He also was lead structural engineer on multiple design packages for the Gateway Tunnel project and project engineer for a MTA Metro-North Railroad facility at Grand Central Terminal.

Advent Intermodal Solutions LLC has appointed Dennis Monts executive vice president of commercial operations. He will focus on helping shippers and their third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and trucking partners with predictive cargo visibility services, Advent Intermodal officials said in a press release. Monts previously served eight years at the Intermodal Association of North America, where he spearheaded commercial and product development for intermodal information services. During his more than 30-year career in the intermodal, trucking, 3PL, warehousing and employment service sectors, he also held various leadership roles at Matson Logistics, Randstad Holding and General Motors Corp.
