Ironhorse to develop rail-served industrial park on U.S.-Mexico border

Ironhorse Resources Inc. has purchased 1,244 acres in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, to develop build-to-suit rail solutions for businesses that want to locate on the U.S.-Mexican border.
Ironhorse's new site is adjacent to Union Pacific Railroad's intermodal and refueling terminal. Ironhorse's Santa Teresa Southern Railroad will be the rail operator and has a direct connection to UP, according to a company press release.
Located on New Mexico's border with Mexico, the site is in one of the fastest growing industrial areas in the Southwest, Ironhorse officials said in a press release.
"As an industrial rail park developer and logistics company, we have seen how vertically integrating land solutions, rail offerings, transload capabilities and trucking solutions creates unparalleled value to our customers," said Ironhorse President Matt Cundiff.
