PTL to operate new Blissville Rail Terminal in Queens

Eco Material Technologies announced the recent opening of the Blissville Rail Terminal in Queens, New York. Precision Terminal Logistics LLC (PTL) will operate the terminal, which will use New York & Atlantic Railway's local infrastructure, to transport fly ash and cementitious materials.

The terminal will enable Eco Materials to supply supply sustainable cement alternatives to the New York metro area, supporting the region's growing construction needs, company officials said in a press release.

Eco Material is a producer, marketer and distributor of supplementary cementitious materials and producer of green cement products in North America.

"Partnering with Eco Material on this project allows us to leverage our extensive rail infrastructure to deliver materials to market efficiently," said New York & Atlantic President Marlon Taylor. "This approach reduces truck traffic, emissions, and wear and tear on our roadways while streamlining supply chains and supporting sustainable building practices in a key metropolitan area."

PTL was formed in September 2019 by Anacostia Rail Holdings Co. and Brown Brothers Harriman Capital Partners Opportunities Fund. Anacostia is the parent of New York & Atlantic Railway.
