Secure Rail issues call for 2018 conference presenters

Secure Rail 2018 planners are seeking proposals from potential presenters for Progressive Railroading's fifth annual conference, which will be held April 25-26 in Orlando, Florida.

Organizers are seeking presenters for their expertise and experience with the latest risks and threats to physical and cyber security. Topics may include how to anticipate future threats and how to safeguard people and organizations from threats.

Secure Rail was created to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and rail security. Previous conference topics have addressed critical infrastructure, cyber security, emergency preparedness, hazmat transportation, intermodal security, new technology, positive train control and vulnerability assessments.

The deadline to submit presentation proposals is Nov. 17. To submit a proposal, complete the online submission form.

More information about the proposals are available on the Secure Rail website.
