The DIAMOND S is a new generation, portable, hand-pushed digital track geometry inspection trolley measuring gauge, cross-level, twist and on both sides of the rail the running rail/check rail gap and the switchblade/stock rail gap. The instrument incorporates leading edge digital technology with a simple to use computer and touch screen operating interface. The trolley can be carried to the jobsite in a collapsed form and then be operational in less than two minutes. The trolley incorporates two carrying points for rapid off-tracking. Advanced nickel metal hydride batteries give the unit an extended operating life, the company says.
