TOR-FM™ is an environmentally clean, water-polymer solution friction modifier, the company says, adding that it is safe to handle, biodegradable and contains no solids such as graphite or molybdenum disulphide. It is not a suspension of solids like other friction modifiers and can be stored for long durations without the need for stirring before use. Using TOR-FM eliminates the mess caused by grease lubrication and associated clean-up costs, the company says. Its pour point is -40 F and is usable year-round — from -40 F to 165 F. It is not flammable, and is electrically neutral so it does not cause shorting/shunting problems.
