Strato Inc. says it has introduced a way to move a train with a car that has been disabled by an air-brake failure to the next available yard. With the Run-A-Round hose (SR1000), a train can be ready to move within 15 minutes of identifying the damaged car, the company says. The Run-A-Round hose comes ready to use and can be installed by one person. Its 105-foot length and storage wheel allow it to work on cars up to 89 feet long. Special features include Strato gladhands with built-in safety vent valves. The Run-A-Round hose is stored on locomotives and block trucks. The product is available for immediate delivery.
