TH120-STP-I-RT is designed to produce the elongation necessary for in-track welding of continuous welded rails. This tensor is built to rigid railroad specifications and is user-friendly, the company says. A hydraulic intensifier is mounted to the unit. Cross plate and cribbing are not required when setting up to pull. The simple lifting beam allows the unit to be stored complete and placed on the rail when ready to work. Two eccentric clamp vises with four grooved replaceable jaws eliminate the need for the operator to position the jaws manually, the company says. This-120 ton puller also incorporates a self-aligning device designed to assure the accuracy and straightness of the pull.
