The production rail benders are designed to bend or straighten all types of flat bottom or grooved rails. The Model VO-403 bends single curves; the Models VO-406 and VO-408 can bend curves and reverse curves with no need of turning the rail or the machine. The machine comprises a sturdy steel-welded frame which bears the bending, free and driving roller; three rollers for the VO-403; six rollers for the Model VO-406, and four rollers for the VO-408. The rollers are mounted on steel shafts and ball bearings. They can be removed and replaced by other rollers according to the rail section to be bent.
