These units are designed for top unloading of rail cars to truck with operator safety as the utmost concern. The operator platform, which is accessed by OSHA-approved stairs, provides access from rail car to truck and is complete with necessary equipment for the transfer of liquids, eliminating the need for the operator to carry heavy materials up and down rail car and truck ladders, the company says. Systems are available for transferring many types of products, including acids, solvents, chemicals and food-grade liquids up to 400 gpm. Options available include: mild steel or stainless steel pumps and metering devices, safety showers and eye wash.
