ENSCO Rail
Instrumented Wheelsets (IWS) from ENSCO Rail are industry-standard tools for measuring dynamic forces at the wheel/rail interface. Used in passenger, freight, and transit vehicle qualification, IWS captures vertical, lateral, and longitudinal forces along with contact location. The system operates autonomously or manually, and data can be synchronized with TGMS, RQMS, or rail profile systems to generate a complete picture of vehicle/track behavior. Ideal for vehicle acceptance, derailment risk analysis, and track performance studies, ENSCO's IWS has been proven in over 40 deployments and supports both laboratory and in-service applications.
