ITT KONI's Heavy Duty Series (HD) large-bore hydraulic shock absorbers are designed to protect equipment from large impacts. They are available in a wide variety of stroke lengths and damping characteristics designed to increase equipment life and meet stringent deceleration requirements. These units offer a custom-orificed design to accommodate specific damping needs. Computer generated output performance simulation is used to optimize the orifice configuration, the company says. These units are available in standard bore dimensions up to 6 inches and strokes over 60 inches.
