Parker 275 railroad air brake hose is constructed of a seamless, synthetic rubber inner tube reinforced with one fabric braid; one steel wire braid in sizes -10 and -12; two steel wire braids in sizes -16, -20, and -24; and housed in an oil- and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber cover. Identification is permanently embossed on the cover. The hose's temperature range is from -50 F (-46 C) to 200 F (93 C). The hose, field-attachable fittings and hose assemblies meet or exceed AAR M-618-72 and M-927-69 specification requirements, the company says.
