Rail RFP: Southern California Regional Rail Authority RFP No. MSOP150-20 Rail Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services

The Southern California Regional Rail Authority ("Authority") invites proposals from qualified firms to provide rail operations, maintenance and support services for its commuter rail service known as Metrolink.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) is accessible at: https://www.metrolinktrains.com/bigrfp. (Vendors must register on our vendor portal in order to download the RFP documents and submit a proposal). Electronic Proposal Submittals are due at 2:00 p.m. (PST) on October 11, 2019.

The Authority will conduct a mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference at 8:00 a.m. (PST) on July 19, 2019 at the Authority's offices located at 2700 Melbourne Avenue, Pomona, CA 91767. The Authority is also hosting Facilities Tours on July 19, 20 and 21, 2019. Participants must RSVP by Monday, July 8, 2019, through the vendor portal for the Pre-Proposal Conference and Facilities Tours.

The contract to be awarded is funded in part under grants issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Transit Administration. As a condition of financial assistance agreements between the Authority and U.S. DOT, the Authority has established a goal of 9% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation on this project.
