Rail Safe: Operations and safety training

Security starts with understanding rail car inventory, what is in the yard, where it is, and making sure it stays there. Rail Safe offers railroad operations and safety training to help customers identify and eliminate at-risk behavior, and reduce railroad related-incidents.

The Rail Safe team comprises "world class" railroad operations and safety experts; each trainer has more than 35 years’ railroad experience and is familiar with FRA and OSHA rules and regulations pertaining to rail operations, the company said.

In addition to offering hands-on and classroom instruction, Rail Safe provides track inspections, audits and an online curriculum through a learning management system that "can be taken in any increment, anytime, anyplace the internet is available,” according to the company.
