Protran: Callisto track geometry measurement systems

Protran Technology will launch its new Callisto line of track geometry measurement systems at the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association's (AREMA) 2016 annual conference and exposition in Orlando, Fla.

The Callisto ProTamp system offers an inertial-based solution for measuring track geometry on board Harsco Mark IV and 6700 series tampers. The product enables high-speed recording without buggies extended and features a direct interface with the tamper control system.

Other products in the line include the Callisto Hy-rail track geometry measurement system and the Callisto Absolute track geometry measurement and integration system.

Protran will provide demonstrations of the Callisto products at Booth No. 910 at the AREMA show, which is scheduled for Aug. 28-31.
