HARTING expands M12 and RFID product lines

HARTING Inc. of North America has expanded its M12 and RFID product lines to better support the needs of the rail industry and other markets concerned about vibration.

The company now offers new M12 PushPull variants designed to address the space-saving demands for train communication. The M12 PushPull previously was only offered in a straight version with A, D and X coding, and only in male versions. Now, the connector solution is available with new housing shapes and in female versions.

In addition, HARTING now offers a high-performance UHF RFID 4 Field Reader with M12 and M8 connections. The product addition is ideally suited for train applications where robust M8 and M12 connections are standard, company officials say.
