Wisconsin DOT seeks feedback on draft freight Public Involvement Plan

advertisement

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public feedback on its 2027 State Freight Plan (SFP) draft Public Involvement Plan (PIP).

WisDOT updates the SFP every four years in compliance with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA) to address the state’s freight needs.

Public engagement in the update process includes the general public and all affected stakeholders. The draft PIP identifies the communication and outreach processes WisDOT will follow during the SFP update, to ensure decisions made reflect the needs of system users.

Wisconsin residents and other stakeholders can view the PIP and find details about how to submit feedback on WisDOT's website. Comments will be accepted through July 17.
