Wabtec's Down Under subsidiary obtains rail-car component orders

Wabtec Corp. subsidiary Wabtec Australia Pty. Ltd. has received orders for brake and locomotive-control equipment, and locomotive cooling systems from Australian iron-ore and freight railroads.
The components will be manufactured by Wabtec's Cardwell Westinghouse division in Chicago; WABCO Freight Car Products Ltd. in Stoney Creek, Ontario; Wabtec Railway Electronics in Germantown, Md.; and Young Touchstone in Jackson, Tenn.
The railroads plans to use the components on new freight cars and remanufactured locomotives.
