advertisement

Timken India Ltd. recently began supplying journal bearing housing assemblies to the Indian Railways for its new-generation locomotive fleet.

After analyzing Indian Railways' high performance requirements for its bearing housing, Timken developed a fully equipped assembly unit that includes its Timken® AP™ Class F bearing.

Incorporating the housing and bearing together as one unit will enable the Indian Railways to operate more efficiently and reliably, said Mat W. Happach, Timken global manager, marketing and business planning-rail, in a prepared statement.
