Springfield Terminal Railway negotiates tentative agreements with BLE, UTU

Springfield Terminal Railway Co. recently reached tentative agreements with Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (covering engineers) and United Transportation Union (covering conductors), according to National Mediation Board.
Terms weren't disclosed for the agreements, which are subject to member ratification.
Springfield Terminal Railway is owned and operated by Guilford Rail System, which also owns Boston & Maine Corp., Maine Central Railroad Corp. and Portland Terminal Co.
