San Diego Trolley to open Mission Valley extension in July
advertisement
San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System recently announced San Diego Trolley will open its Mission Valley East extension July 10.
The 5.8-mile line will serve San Diego State University, Qualcomm Stadium, Mission Valley, downtown San Diego, south bay and the U.S.-Mexico border. To operate as the new Green Line, the four-station extension will eliminate a gap in the system between the Mission San Diego Station on the Blue Line and the Grossmont Center Station on the Orange Line.
The line is projected to average 11,000 passengers daily.
