On July 16, National Small Shipments Traffic Conference (NASSTRAC) named Brian Everett executive director.

He will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and implementing the association's strategic business plan, as well as marketing, membership growth and event management.

With nearly 20 years' marketing and management experience in North American transportation, Everett serves as executive director for Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) and senior partner for Minneapolis-based MindShare Strategies Inc. NASSTRAC plans to relocate from Washington, D.C., to Waconia, Minn.

The association also named Denny Grim executive producer, responsible for increasing membership of shippers, carriers and suppliers. With more than 25 years' experience in logistics industry marketing and communications, Grim serves as executive producer for Business To Business Communications Inc., and previously served in various capacities for The Traffic Club of Chicago, Intermodal Association of North America and TMCA.

Founded in 1952, NASSTRAC focuses on less-than-truckload transportation and supply-chain issues.
