Last week, a developer broke ground for an apartment complex at Metropolitan Area Rapid Transit Authority’s (MARTA) Lindbergh City Center.
Expected to be complete by early next year, the $40 million project includes three apartment buildings featuring 362 units. The transit-oriented development center currently includes a MARTA station, the authority’s headquarters and BellSouth offices. Restaurants and retail stores are planned for the center.
The center is part of a public/private partnership between MARTA, the Urban Residential Finance Authority of the City of Atlanta and developer Harold A. Dawson Co.
