Greater Cleveland RTA boosts passenger count in July

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority boosted ridership last month, carrying 280,000, or 6 percent, more passengers than July 2007's count.
Daily ridership was up 2.6 percent, or by about 5,000 riders. Rail ridership rose 1.6 percent. The agency currently carries an average of 193,700 passengers each weekday.
