advertisement
CSX Intermodal March 19 named Vice President International Sales Steven Rand vice president-sales and Vice President-Business Planning Peter Rutski, vice president-marketing and pricing.
Rand, who in 1995 began his CSXI career, will be responsible for all intermodal sales efforts, including international, domestic and premium. He formerly served as assistant vice president-operations and assistant vice president-international sales and marketing.
Rutski, who in 1985 began his CSX Corp. career, will be responsible for all intermodal marketing and pricing efforts, and business development. He formerly served as assistant vice president-intermodal sales for CSX Distribution Services, and assistant vice president-marketing, assistant vice president-corridor management and assistant vice president-operations planning for CSXI.
"We're projecting substantial revenue growth over the next three years," said CSXI President Clarence Gooden in a prepared statement. "[Rand and Rutski] will develop new products and services that meet the needs of our
existing customers, as well as the needs of an increasing number of shippers who will convert their business to rail in the future."
