Labor news: Puget Sound & Pacific T&E employees select UTU

The votes are in: Puget Sound & Pacific Railroad’s (PS&P) eight train and engine (T&E) employees elected United Transportation Union to serve as their collective bargaining representative, according to a National Mediation Board statement issued July 2.

The 150-mile PS&P is owned and operated by RailAmerica Inc. Last month, 17 T&E employees of another RailAmerica property – the 255-mile California Northern Railroad – also selected UTU to represent them.
