Mabry to succeed Moschetti as BNSF's CMO

BNSF Railway Co. has promoted Brandon Mabry from assistant vice president of value engineering to AVP and chief mechanical officer to succeed Tom Moschetti, who resigned. Effective April 28, Mabry will assume his new position and report to VP of Mechanical Chris Roberts.

Since joining BNSF in 1999, Mabry has served stints as director of lean production and shop superintendent. He previously held various positions at Delphi Automotive Systems.

BNSF also made several other changes in the mechanical department:
• AVP of Quality and Reliability Engineering Lisa Stabler now will lead “Service Excellence Best Way” initiatives formerly managed by Mabry;
• Car and locomotive functions will be consolidated under General Director of Locomotives Tom Lambrecht and General Director of Cars Clay Norman, who both will report to Roberts; and
• Director of Safety Ron Hennessey also will report to Roberts.
